Natural Machines and the CTTC – UPC | Universitat Politècnica de Catalunya – Centre Tecnològic de Transferència de Calor at Universitat Politècnica de Catalunya have successfully completed the hashtag#EFICIENT3D project, during which an innovative low-energy cooking system, combining 𝗶𝗻𝗱𝘂𝗰𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗹𝗮𝘀𝗲𝗿 𝘁𝗲𝗰𝗵𝗻𝗼𝗹𝗼𝗴𝗶𝗲𝘀 with 𝗮𝗿𝘁𝗶𝗳𝗶𝗰𝗶𝗮𝗹 𝘃𝗶𝘀𝗶𝗼𝗻, was developed for the hashtag#Foodini 3D food printer.
The system optimises energy use by precisely targeting heat to the volume of food, significantly reducing both 𝗲𝗻𝗲𝗿𝗴𝘆 𝗰𝗼𝗻𝘀𝘂𝗺𝗽𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 and 𝗰𝗼𝗼𝗸𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝘁𝗶𝗺𝗲.
